Steve Woessner
Stephan Woessner is the CEO and founder of Blue Oceans Global Consulting, a company focused on automotive business transformation through the application of intelligent automation. The current Blue Oceans Team has over 100 years of automotive experience and strong connections in the technology space. Prior to starting his consulting company, Stephan was a senior executive with Ford Motor Company. During his 34-year tenure at Ford he influenced hundreds of billions of dollars in international and domestic revenue, while developing a deep expertise in OEM, vendor, and dealership operations. He built and launched the first combined sales & service operation at Ford, which has subsequently been used as a model for Ford’s current US field organization. His final position with Ford was another “white space” position as Southeastern Market Area Manager – Parts & Sales Operations. Stephan was selected to develop this newly created role to enable Ford to address the impacts of emerging technology and a changing automotive business model on automotive parts sales. In his current role as CEO & Founder of Blue Oceans Global Consulting he has completed certifications in Robotic Process Automation w/ UiPath and process mapping and analysis training with Signavio. He has attended the Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta’s Technology and Innovation Event w/ Dr. Joe Sutherland and participated in numerous online AI, RPA and automation forums.
Stephan earned his MBA in Marketing and his BA in History with a minor in English from The College of William & Mary. Fluent in English and German, he has completed Senior Executive Leadership, Salaried Supervisor, and Leadership & Management Development training with Ford. Stephan has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, Feed Brevard Food Drive, Salvation Army, SPCA, and Keep Brevard Beautiful. He has also recently obtained his pilot’s license, with over 250 hours of logged flight time.
